November 19, 2017
T Rex Express powered her way to a nine-length victory in the $50,000US My Sister Pearl S. Nov. 18 at Charles Town Races in West Virginia, the first stakes win for the 4-year-old Warrior’s Reward filly.
T Rex Express had been second in her last two starts, both stakes at seven furlongs. Stretching out to nine panels in the My Sister Pearl, T Rex Express came out of the gate very swiftly to assumed command. Chased the entire trip by Rock n’ Gold, T Rex Express was never seriously threatened, pulling away with three furlongs to go and winning as she pleased (VIDEO).
The winner is owned by David Raim and upped her mark to an excellent 8-6-1 in 19 starts, with a bankroll of $216,095US. Bred by Mr. & Mrs. John Link, T Rex Express is a half-sister to multiple stakes winner Partly Mocha.
Warrior’s Reward has nine stakes horses this year in North America, with earnings of more than $3.9 million US. He will have his largest crop of runners in 2018.
