OBS sale wraps with $300K Warrior’s Reward filly

April 27, 2018

The April 24-27 Ocala Breeders’ Sale in Central Florida 2-year-old sale’s last session closed out a terrific month for Warrior’s Reward when a filly by the Spendthrift stallion sold for $300,000US to Baoma Corporation.

April got off to a sparkling start for Warrior’s Reward when Warrior’s Club scored impressively in the Commonwealth (G3) at Keeneland, setting him up for a likely start in the Churchill Downs S. (G2) next weekend.

Brick City acquired the filly, hip No. 1020, from the Brick City Thoroughbreds consignment. The filly’s dam, Song’n Dance, has already produced a pair of stakes horses in Catsadiva and John’s Success. Song’n Dance’s dam, Song for Par Ci, is a half-sister to millionaire and multiple Grade 1 winner Win.
