Jimmy Creed’s first crop of North American runners have been frequent visitors to the winner’s circle, the latest coming July 16 when the 2-year-old filly Presage surged to a very good-looking 2 ¼-length maiden special weight win at Presque Isle Downs in Pennsylvania.
Jimmy Creed has six winners to date, second-most of any First-Crop North American stallion. He also ranks third by progeny earnings and is the highest-ranked stallion who stands for $5,000US or less.
Presage looked extremely strong in Sunday’s stretch run, emerging from between horses at the top of the lane to win going away (VIDEO).
The winner was bred in Kentucky by Golden Pedigree, LLC and is out of Ba Ba’s Bunch, who is a half-sister to the multiple graded stakes-winning sprinter Ventana.
