Jimmy Creed 2YO prevails in Kempton Novice Stakes

October 24, 2017

Jimmy Creed, a top-five North American Freshman Sire this year, got his first winner in the United Kingdom on Oct. 24 when Perfect Hustler forged his way to a three-parts length victory in a Novice Stakes at Kempton Park.

The chestnut youngster was mid-pack most of the way before making his way to the front inside the final eighth-mile and finishing up the six furlongs in 1:12.10 over a track rate “slow”.

Perfect Hustler is a son of the Loup Sauvage mare Jacqui’s Promise, who banked near a quarter-million dollars US in her career. Her stakes-winning dam also produced the US Grade 3 winner Corporate Jungle.

Jimmy Creed’s 14 first-crop winners include five stakes horses, led by the Grade 2-winning filly Spectator.
