Warrior's Reward

Monday, November 23, 2015
Top-10 North American Second Crop sire Warrior’s Reward earned his first Grade 1 winner of the year when Exclusivo rolled to a five-length win in the Clasico Puerto Rico Futurity (G1) at Camarero Race Track on Nov. 19.

The 2-year-old colt, who was bred on the island by Hacienda Los Nietos, Inc., powered to the lead at the head of the stretch and drew off with authority in the seven furlong main track contest.

Warrior’s Reward is the Second Crop co-leader of graded stakes horses with five to date and ranks seventh with nearly $2.8 million in progeny earnings this year. In his first year at stud this year in Australia, the Grade 1 winner is standing for $11,000 live foal.

Owned by Silent Stable, Exclusivo is out of Champagne Royal, a four-time stakes winner of $287,935.
