Jimmy Creed has session's top filly at Keeneland Yearling sale

The winning bid of $385,000US for a Jimmy Creed yearling during Friday's session of the Keeneland September sale was the top price paid for a filly during the fourth day of the sale, which runs through September 25.

The filly was consigned by Gainesway Sales, agent and cataloged as hip No. 700. Steve Young, agent, signed the ticket for the bay Kentucky-bred.

The filly is out of Yearly Report, winner of the Delaware Oaks, Black-Eyed Susan S., and Santa Ynez S., all Grade 2 events. From her five foals to race, she has accounted for Spinaway S. (G1) winner Condo Commando and the multiple graded stakes placed colt Checklist.

Jimmy Creed, is standing at Spendthrift Australia for $8,800AUS (inc. GST) payable either live foal or as part of the Breed Secure program, has 38 remaining lots cataloged in the sale.
