Curious Rumor held off the late charge of Per La Bella to score by a head in her debut July 22 at Emerald Downs in Washington state (VIDEO).

The 2-year-old filly is the seventh first-crop North American winner for Jimmy Creed, whose runners are winning at nearly 50 percent. The Spendthrift stallion ranks second on the Freshman Sire list by both winners (7) and progeny earnings ($205,044US).

Curious Runner was bred by T/C Stable LLC and is from the same family as millionaire Vision and Verse, winner of the Illinois Derby (G2) and second in the Belmont S. (G1).
