Jimmy Creed filly debuts a double-digit winner

Saturday, November 25, 2017
Others Will Follow was the clearest of winners in her Nov. 25 debut at Gulfstream West in southern Florida, rolling to a 10 1/4-length score in a 5 1/2-furlong maiden special weight contest.

The 2-year-old filly is Jimmy Creed's 18th First-Crop winner to date, which ranks him above all but two freshman sires standing in North America this year. His advertised fee for 2018 is $15,000 live foal.

Despite her outside post in the field of seven Others Will Follow found the lead soon after the break, and after getting a mild challenge on the turn, opened up at the top of the stretch and came home much the best to earn a very good Beyer Speed Figure of 79 for the effort.

The winner was bred by Spendthrift Farm and is owned by Imperial Racing.
